Applications for membership are reviewed by the IHA Secretariat and considered by current members in accordance with the Association’s procedures. The review process includes discussion and voting by member organizations, reflecting the peer-based nature of the Association.

mEMBERSHIP IN THIS CRITICAL FORUM IS AVAILABLE TO:
  • National membership organizations that represent professionals in various industries, including builders and those specializing in residential construction.
    • These organizations often influence building regulations and work closely with governments to codify residential building requirements.
  • On a case-by-case basis we may admit companies that operate at a national, non-specified, level.

Their shared goal is to elevate industry standards and professionalism. Typically, senior-level staff from these organizations serve as representatives on the IHA Board, although long-tenured member leaders may be considered individually.
